| No enemy to envy |

I have no enemy to envy As I lie in bed with thoughts set on a wall The wall has a hanging frame That tells me of a world of wonder outside. I can’t move much and I’m rich so To concentrate on whatever is in proximity. Now I turn out to be a mystic For I dwell on God and His creation. He shaped me in the womb of my mother There I was served the life blood and all that I required Such a humble abode and I never cried out For freedom, boredom, humdrum or snare drums. “HE” > He is my creator, my God, and Lord of the universe “He” who was, ‘He’ who is and ‘He’ who will be He is the beginning and end of all that exists He will nourish and nurture all whom He has given a life. I have no enemy to envy For He is the creator and preserver of all Who poured on all living beings its beauty and essence To whom belongs the authorship of everything in the world. My eyes again back to the scenery rest Beauty …..all around, above and beneath Sprinkled and splashed as in a rainbow I can only bow and say, “Thou art mighty!” Whom shall I envy, my God? My brother or sister or neighbour or colleague? None ! none in the world Whom I should envy For my God has created everyone And everyone has taken shape and life in Him.
