Students are not allowed to keep with them any book borrowed from the library for more than a week.
Students are expected to take sufficient care of the library books. If a book is lost or damaged the student in whose name it was issued will have to make good either the loss or the damage.
It is strictly forbidden to write any remark in the book or underline words. If there are such in a book already, they should be brought to the notice of the Librarian immediately on receiving the book, not later.
Before asking for a new book, pupil should have the old book duly crossed in the register.
No one is allowed to borrow school library book from one another.
Only one book at a time will be issued. Books will not be issued during the vacations.
Class teachers are responsible along with the librarian for the books issued to the students.
Entry has to be made in the diary as soon as a book is issued & returned.
Review should be written in a copy and discussed in the weekly library period.
All should see that an atmosphere of SILENCE and seriousness is maintained in the library at all times.
